you wake up in a beautiful bed to the feel of best quality cotton percale linen as the warm, soft breeze drifts in lazily through the windows.

  You move out to your personal patio to greet the morning and take your breakfast at leisure, or maybe you simply pull on a swim-suit, cross the road and go for an early morning walk along our beautiful, unspoilt stretch of Indian Ocean.

 For the rest of the day, you are spoilt for choice. While our friendly housekeeper cleans and tidies the house you launch out to one of the many holiday attractions. Will it be the fun and excitement of Margate beachfront, the more leisurely pace of Ramsgate, Shelly, St Michaels or Uvongo Beaches, windsurfing on Southbroom lagoon, or experiencing wilder pleasures of the conservation reserve beaches between Southbroom and Port Edward?

You are simply spoilt for choice as all these beaches are a couple of minutes from our house and you could spend your holiday without having managed to explore them all. Our sea temperature has to be experienced to be believed- it's rightly known as the warm Indian Ocean!

For the evening, the Wild Coast Casino offers sophisticated dining and entertainment. However, there are many excellent restaurants much closer by for any evening you don't wish to cook.

         

Margate offers the fun of nightclubs and during the holiday season there is organized entertainment during the day and the evening. Several movie theatres are found at Shelly Beach Centre.

However, if you wish to stay in and enjoy the balmy evenings at the coast, the built-in braai allows you to cook outdoors, while the fully-equipped kitchen enables you to cook quality meals indoors.

Scuba diving, horse-riding, paragliding over the ocean, deep-sea fishing, dolphin and whale viewing, hiking in nature reserves, even learning how to surf are all activities offered in easy distance from Sausalito. No need for even the most active of guests to feel bored.

For those days when the weather is not perfect, or if you’re just feeling lazy, we have provided all the home entertainment you may need.

We have provided a TV in both the main bedroom and the lounge, along with DVD/Video players and a selection of DVDs/videos to suit the whole family. If you wish to have your own personal choice, a video store is very close by.

We have also provided satellite TV (DSTV) for our guests as well as a hi-fi and a choice of music cds. Ceiling fans are provided in all the bedrooms.
