The House

The house has been fully renovated and we restyled the interiors to provide the finest quality furniture, linen and other fittings to make your holiday closer to a top-quality hotel than the traditional self-catering experience. The house is ideally situated in the heart of the Hibiscus Coast with easy access to all its facilities. It is situated in an upmarket cul de sac in Ramsgate. Our road is a sea-front road and you will enjoy beautiful sea views from the house, with direct, private access to the beach (cross the road and walk down a short path to the sand). Sausalito enjoys a wonderful elevated position that takes advantage of the cooling sea-breezes.

The house comprises 3 bedrooms, with a queen bed, a double bed, and 2 ¾ beds in the rooms. The main bedroom has its own private balcony, with a pretty mosaic table to enjoy your breakfast 'al fresco'.

The 2nd bathroom has a shower & bath.

The study is the only room available to guests on the top floor. The study has a futon bed which can be made up into another double bed (sleeps a further 2 people). It also has a desk and an ADSL connection and a WiFi access point  which can be made available to those who need to keep in touch with their office or receive email via their laptops.

The lounge is very large (seats 10) and has glass windows/sliding doors on all external walls. This gives a lovely view and sense of openness. The large, wrap-around patio leading off the lounge enhances the sense of spaciousness. The covered portion of the patio provides cooling shelter and the 'barbeque lifestyle'. It faces the view which makes it ideal for outdoor meals.

 

The lovely Open-plan Kitchen is large, with a separate laundry that has a washing machine and tumble-dryer for your convenience.

 

The dining room is also open-plan and is fully equipped with an 8-seater dining room table and good quality crockery and cutlery combine to make holiday meals a leisurely pleasure to be shared with the family.

 

There is a enclosed garage and paved, secure parking as well, including a covered 'trailer-port'. Full security, including enclosure of the grounds, electric gate and alarm system linked to the local security company ensures complete safety for both you and your possessions.

An important part of your holiday are the accessories you need to relax- umbrellas and chairs for the beach, boogie-boards, beach-towels, a cooler box, picnic basket and rug, board-games for the evening, a fully-stocked library for your enjoyment on the beach or indoors, even a simple first-aid kit. All of these things are provided, so that you can simply bring your swim-suit, move in and relax. This is especially useful for our overseas visitors, or anyone traveling here by air.
